I've been gone for a long time, but I decided to try to keep up with this a little more since I now have a 1991 BMW 325iC and we just got a new project for my wife. A 1992 VW Cabriolet. I still have the Jetta, but she is in a stage where I am repairing it and getting it ready to be sold. Here is she at her height...

Since my last blog, I have put Rokkor coilovers to bring her down, finally put that badgeless grill, white vinyl on the roof to cover the bad paint and Porsche D90 wheels painted BMW Alpine white.

Things on the list to do to get her ready for a prospect new owner:

-Replace windshield (huge crack)
-Install new clutch disc (she's starting to slip)
-Install new window regulators with working motors on the rear windows
-Take off old tint
-Remove white vinyl from roof and spray paint the top a nice matte black.
-Install new antenna base
-Finally install all my new AC vents
-Reupholster the sunroof sliding door and also the whole headliner if I get affordable material
-Repaint the Flik wheels so I don't have to worry about buying something new.
-Send her to my buddy Jose who is trying to get his detail business going. Maybe he can work wonders on the bad paint and get her looking a bit better, in lieu of getting her painted.
-Give her a good bath inside and out
